Turkey to Go
Thursday November 20, 2008
The Funny Site of the Day -- Meet Turkster. He's the turkey. He's facing Thanksgiving dinner. To put it simply, he's plucked.
Your holiday challenge is to help him escape. Just grab all of the naked bird's feathers before the clock strikes "Feast!"
Funny Games, host of this Ezone adventure, adds, "If you make it past Level 5, Turkster will have enough feathers to cover his skin and return to decent Turkish society." And the gravy is you win!
Oh, one more thing: "Avoid the flying fork from below -- it will stop you."
I love sharing my life lessons with the kids.

The Monty Python Channel
Wednesday November 19, 2008
The Funny Site of the Day -- Here at About Web Humor, also known as The Ministry of Silly Clicks, 'twas a delight to discover this open letter from the gents of Monty Python at a famous online video portal we'll not embarrass by mentioning.
For 3 years you YouTubers have been ripping us off, taking tens of thousands of our videos and putting them on YouTube. Now the tables are turned. It's time for us to take matters into our own hands.
We know who you are, we know where you live and we could come after you in ways too horrible to tell. But being the extraordinarily nice chaps we are, we've figured a better way to get our own back: We've launched our own Monty Python channel on YouTube.
No more of those crap quality videos you've been posting. We're giving you the real thing - HQ videos delivered straight from our vault.
What's more, we're taking our most viewed clips and uploading brand new HQ versions. And what's even more, we're letting you see absolutely everything for free. So there!
But we want something in return.
None of your driveling, mindless comments. Instead, we want you to click on the links, buy our movies & TV shows and soften our pain and disgust at being ripped off all these years.
Drat. There's always a catch. Of course, you could join me in my subtle, giant Trojan bunny and sneak over there for the videos and stiff the gift shoppe.
Currently, there are only two dozen or so Python videos posted from the television series and films, primarily Monty Python and the Holy Grail, the Spamalot source material. Whether those comedy clips will be rotated with others or increased in numbers remains to be seen. Whatever, my personal prediction is for something completely different.

My Life In a Cube
Tuesday November 18, 2008
The Funny Site of the Day -- Shane Johnson worked inside the oppressive horror known as an office cubicle, one which proved to be fairly private and perfect for doodling and daydreams. The results led to this Web blog where he publishes his art and the similar satirical musings from contributors. Shane found the cube to be "so depressing it's almost funny," so he quit, but the scars and sketches continue.

Holiday Meat Cannon
Monday November 17, 2008
The Funny Site of the Day -- Breaking news: "The holiday meat elf is ravenous. Load up your holiday meat cannon, and let the feast fly."
Golly! If we were to fling gargantuan flesh chunks at the carnivorous imp, would that make the world right? Do we need know-how on gravy trajectories? I want so much to help; may I, vegetarian that I am, work exclusively in the tofurkey?
So many questions, so little cranberries or other basic food groups in our arsenal / pantry, however we must adapt! C'mon, there are summer sausages, hams, turkeys, prime ribs, and smoked salmon to strategically aim and deliver to the profoundly past peckish pixie!

One more thing, is there really a professional calling for a "holiday meat elf?" My weekends are free....
